FOR FUTURISTIC SHOWBOT CHARACTER ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 17
Showbot Featured in Blue Man Group’s New Production and Procession
at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino
Blue Man Group >, the critically acclaimed, world-famous production, is holding an open casting call for the role of its futuristic and interactive Showbot character on Wednesday, July 17. Developed exclusively for Blue Man Group in Las Vegas by Show Creators Inc., the unique and dynamic Showbot is described as part human and part robot. From her luminescent ponytail to her bodacious metal build, the cheeky character is a popular addition to the new show and is known for her mad dancing skills and unique interactions with the Blue Men and audiences alike.
In addition to the on-stage show, the Showbot is featured in the production’s energetic Procession. Performed daily at 6:15 p.m. (excluding dark days), the free attraction features a glowing parade on the casino floor for guests to experience prior to the show. A rhythmic groove weaves and shakes its way through the casino while the Showbot dances along in a musical celebration, luring and enticing unsuspecting visitors into the magical, imaginative world that is Blue Man Group.
Auditions will be held inside Monte Carlo’s Ballroom 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. The criteria for tryouts include:
- Female performer with a height of 5’3” – 5’5” only
- Small build, physically fit
- Performer/dancer/actor with a good sense of rhythm and physical theater experience

Blue Man Group offers a free Procession, an energetic luminescent parade, daily at 6:15 p.m. (excluding dark days) on the casino floor for guests to experience prior to the show. The Procession features custom made instruments including the Percussipede, a musical centipede of percussion instruments, and a puppet co-created by world-renowned 3-D designer Michael Curry as well as a humanoid robot designed by Show Creators Inc. Each day, a Blue Man groove will weave and shake its way through the casino; a musical celebration that will lure and entice unsuspecting visitors into the magical, imaginative world that is Blue Man Group.
