Vegas Gone Yoga! Festival at Springs Preserve, World Champion Valery Fedorenko and 108 Sun Salutations for Yoga Gangsters Charity

Saturday, September 21 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and Sunday, September 22 (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) – World Champion Kettlebell Lifter, Valery Fedorenko, visits TruFusion Yoga
World Champion Kettlebell Lifter, Valery Fedorenko, visits TruFusion Yoga September 21 to conduct a Kettlebell Workshop and September 22 for Kbell Training Day! In addition to being a World Champion, Fedorenko holds the rank of Honor Master of Sport and is responsible for bringing the popular Russian sport to the United States. He is now America’s Head Coach and Chief Advisor of the World Kettlebell Club. Representing the ladies of Kettlebell Sport, 2012 World Champion Ksenia Dedukhina, who can snatch with 24 kg (more than most men), will be joining Fedorenko! Sunday, September 22 (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.) – Vegas Gone Yoga! Festival at the Springs Preserve
In honor of National Yoga Month, the Springs Preserve is hosting the first annual Vegas Gone Yoga! Festival with all raffle proceeds to benefit Seeds of Peace; a charity that serves at-risk schools by teaching skills such as breath awareness, relaxation techniques, physical postures and movement linked with breath. The best teachers from around the city will be conducting a variety of classes including Yoga & Pilates Fusion with Martin Hinton and Revitalize – A New Hot Yoga Alternative by Mark Balfe-Taylor. Saturday, September 28 (1 – 3 p.m.) – Yoga Gangsters Fundraising Event at David Barton Gym at Tivoli Village
The TruFusion team will rise to the challenge of completing 108 sun salutations to help towards Yoga Gangsters’ overall goal of raising $120,000 for kids in crisis. All proceeds will benefit Yoga Gangsters, a non-profit organization that provides complimentary, empowering and urban-flavored programs to at-risk youth across the country. Classes take place in schools, jails, shelters and youth centers and provide a safe and fun way for kids to learn non-violent communication and other life-enhancing techniques that calm the nervous system.
