Vegas Nightlife Fights *just added* Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.

Tickets start at $20 On sale now

Industry hosts and bartenders battle in regulation boxing ring. The main event features Dion Niemo (Body English Nightclub & Afterhours host) versus Ken Norton Jr. (son of former Heavy Weight Champion of the World). Additional fighters include Sal Wise (Angel Management Group marketing director) and Mark Alum (Spearmint Rhino Las Vegas bartender). A total of 10 percent of the door sales will benefit Barry’s Boxing Center, a nonprofit organization developed to encourage, not discourage, young men and women in their pursuit of excellence in the sport of boxing both in and out of the ring.

Linkin Park *just added* Friday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m.

Tickets start at $85.50 On sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

Grammy-Award winning rock band, LINKIN PARK will bring its unique and high-energy music to The Joint on Friday, Jan. 10.

The SoCal sextet fused electronica, metal and hip-hop on its 2000 debut Hybrid Theory and made instant history. The band’s infectious singles overwhelmed radio formats and the Billboard charts, making it the best selling album in the world that year. With three GRAMMY nominations, six to date, a statuette for Best Hard Rock Performance, and later, the extraordinary Diamond certification, Hybrid Theory sold over 18 million copies worldwide.

The six friends with a dynamic assortment of talents — co-frontmen Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda, turntablist/video director Joe Hahn, percussionist Rob Bourdon, guitarist Brad Delson and bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell — stay multiple steps ahead of the increasingly derivative competition. Bennington’s lycanthropic croon-to-howl transformations offset Shinoda’s pointed, earnest MC screeds, while new singles like “Somewhere I Belong,” “Numb” and “Breaking the Habit” struck a perfect balance between processed and organic, anthemic and intimate. Sophomore sensation Meteora proved the band’s first album wasn’t a fluke, taking the successes of the first album and expanding upon them, sonically and emotionally.

From that point on, the band fully embraced the eclecticism hinted at in the first two records: they joined forces with hip-hop legend Jay-Z in 2004 for the groundbreaking mash-up Collision Course EP. Minutes to Midnight was the first of three boundary-pushing, full-length partnerships with iconic producer Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Metallica, Adele), followed by the daring, socio-political concept epic A Thousand Suns.

With so many forward-thinking looks in a catalog of just four albums, the band found imaginative ways of tying them together in 2012’s diverse Living Things. Like all of its prior records, it bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and debuted at No. 1 in over 20 countries. Linkin Park is the first and only band to score five consecutive number one album debuts this century.

Linkin Park’s global touring numbers are even more ridiculous than its album sales. On its most recent tour cycle, the band played to over 1 million people in 79 shows on six continents. Since its inception, Linkin Park have prioritized exploring innovative means of connecting with its vast fan base.

Zac Brown Band with special guest Levi Lowrey *just added* Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $99.50 On sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

GRAMMY award-winning country/folk megastars Zac Brown Band will return to The Joint this winter for two phenomenal shows on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12.

Demand for the Zac Brown Band experience is at an all-time high. The multi-platinum, three-time GRAMMY award-winning outfit throws down every night with expert musicianship, hearty Southern rock, and an unparalleled fan experience that’s selling out arenas and amphitheaters from coast to coast.

The band’s third studio album Uncaged debuted at No. 1 with its best first-week sales of 234,000 copies, followed by the triple-platinum major label debut The Foundation and platinum No. 1 You Get What You Give. Together these albums have produced a historic series of 10 No. 1 hit singles.

The Georgia seven-piece has been lauded by fans and critics alike as a “truly astounding troupe of musicians” with a “staggering display of instrumental prowess” that makes them “one of the best live bands on the planet.”

Levi Lowrey is a singer and songwriter who has performed extensively as a solo artist, headliner and supporting act. He co-wrote the Zac Brown Band’s single “The Wind” from the band’s No. 1 Billboard album Uncaged, has been nominated for several County Music Awards and was named one of 13 for 13” Ones to Watch in 2013 by Roughstock.

KOMP’s Totally Politically Correct Holiday Bash featuring Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington with special guests P.O.D. and Sick Puppies

Sunday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.

Tickets start at $39.50 On sale now

KOMP’S Totally Politically Correct Holiday Bash featuring Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington with special guests P.O.D. and Sick Puppies will take over The Joint on Sunday, Dec. 15.

The men behind one of the most influential bands in rock ‘n’ roll, bassist Robert DeLeo, guitarist Dean DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots (STP), made the bold decision to join forces with Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington in early 2013. With Bennington in the fold, STP ignited a renaissance of newfound independence. STP released on Oct. 8 its highly anticipated EP, High Rise, which pulses with renewed energy and purpose.

P.O.D., also known as Payable on Death, has the right to talk about passion in music. Passion has been front and center since the band formed in 1992 in San Diego, and all the way up to the release of its eighth and latest record, Murdered Love. In the last two decades, the group has sold over 10 million albums (including 2001’s triple platinum record Satellite), garnered four No. 1 music videos, three GRAMMY nominations and over a dozen rock radio hits, including “Southtown,” “Alive,” “Youth of the Nation” and “Goodbye For Now.”

Sick Puppies’ recently released its third and most ambitious album, Connect. The trio is all about connection with their fans, each other, their own psyches, and each of the dozen songs on the album Connect, which include intense, epic rockers to mellower yet lyrically anguished ballads, is introspective yet also universal. From the first single, “There’s No Going Back” to the band’s most political song, the ironic “Gunfight,” Connect will exhilarate old fans and captivate new ones.

Steve Miller Band and The Doobie Brothers Saturday, Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $59.50 On sale now

Legendary rockers Steve Miller Band and The Doobie Brothers announced a special Saturday, Dec. 28 performance at The Joint. Both bands will perform their greatest hits during one amazing night at the award-winning music venue.

Steve Miller Band’s broad appeal crosses musical boundaries. Miller has released two new albums including the 2010 No. 1 blues album Bingo and its successor Let Your Hair Down – the first albums in 18 years. One of rock music’s all-time greats, the Steve Miller Band has sold more than 40 million records in a career spanning more than 40 years. His trademark blues-rock sound made him one of the key artists in classic rock radio.

There’s no separating the unparalleled legacy of The Doobie Brothers from its latest released album, World Gone Crazy. In a sense, World Gone Crazy is an analogy for The Doobie Brothers as a whole. With founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons, and 30 year-plus veterans John McFee and Michael Hossack, The Doobie Brothers have perfectly honored the band’s legacy with an offering that grows in unexpected new directions. Aside from a few years of inactivity in the mid-80s, The Doobie Brothers has continued to perform, create and record for over 21 years. The band that has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide is known for such hits as “Blackwater,” and “Takin’ It to the Streets.”

Imagine Dragons with special guests The Mowgli’s and Parade of Lights Monday, Dec. 30 at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $79.50 On sale now

Platinum-selling rock band and Las Vegas’ very own Imagine Dragons will be kicking off the New Year’s celebrations in Las Vegas. The hometown band will be joined by special guests The Mowgli’s and Parade of Lights to rock out The Joint on Monday, Dec. 30.

Local Vegas awards include “Best CD” in 2011 by Vegas Seven, “Best Local Indie Band” in 2010 by Las Vegas Weekly and “Las Vegas’ Newest Must-See Live Act” by Las Vegas CityLife.

Imagine Dragons’ debut album Night Visions on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album arrived on the Billboard’s Top 200 chart at No. 2 with the best first-week sales for a full-length debut by a new rock band in over six years. The album has been propelled by the amazing success of the two-time platinum-selling single “It’s Time” and the six-time platinum follow-up “Radioactive,” which Rolling Stone named “the biggest rock hit of the year.” The current single, “Demons” has sold over 1.3 million copies.

Alternative rockers The Mowgli’s are from Southern California. The band is best known for its hit song “San Francisco,” which was No. 11 on Billboard’s “Alternative Songs” chart this year. The group is named after a character in “The Jungle Book” by Rudyard Kipling.
