Ribbon Cutting for New Golden Corral on Wednesday, December 18 at 4 p.m.

The opening of Las Vegas’ first Golden Corral Buffet and Grill at 1455 S. Lamb Blvd. (near E. Charleston Blvd.) this week means two hundred valley residents have new jobs and steady paychecks.

The restaurant officially opens to the public on Thursday, December 19 at 10 a.m. A ribbon cutting and dinner with local dignitaries is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18.

Workforce Connections’ One-Stop Career Center helped hire all two hundred employees for this new restaurant at no cost to the job seeker or Golden Corral, as part of its mission to connect skilled job seekers with employers looking to grow or expand.

WHERE: 1455 S. Lamb Blvd. (near E. Charleston Blvd.)

WHO: Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly, Workforce Connections Executive Director Ardell Galbreth, Workforce Connections Board Chair Hannah Brown, Golden Corral Franchise Owner Robert Lopez and new employees.

After the ribbon cutting, invited guests will enjoy dinner at Golden Corral.

Golden Corral Buffet & Grill opens to the public on Thursday, December 19 at 10 a.m.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

One-Stop Career Center is a one-of-a-kind collaboration in Nevada of government, education, and non-profit partners conveniently located under one roof to effectively distribute and maximize federal funds earmarked for in-demand job training, education and employment initiatives. By creating a true one-stop environment to enhance availability and access to resources, One-Stop turns jobseekers into skilled employees who can contribute to the local economy while providing employers in Southern Nevada the necessary tools retain and grow their workforce.
