MILEY CYRUS
Global superstar Miley Cyrus will headline the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the first time Saturday, March 1 during her highly anticipated 2014 Bangerz Tour. Cyrus released her new album, Bangerz, on RCA Records in October 2013. It debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and the Digital Album Charts with more than 270,000 albums sold. Cyrus’ two singles off Bangerz, “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop,” have sold more than 4.3 million copies in the U.S. alone.

CANELO ALVAREZ VS. ALFREDO ANGULO
Former World Champion and Mexican boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez (42-1-1, 30 KOs) returns to the ring Saturday, March 8 to face the fierce and rugged Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo (22-3, 18 KOs) in the headline attraction of a stacked four-fight event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. At 23 years of age, Canelo has emerged as a Mexican icon, standing side-by-side with his country’s greatest sporting legends. A vicious puncher with a crowd-pleasing and aggressive style, Angulo produces exciting fights every time he steps through the ropes. Canelo vs. Angulo will air live on SHOWTIME Pay-Per-View.

PAC-12 MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will return to the MGM Grand Garden Arena March 12 – 15. Some of the nation’s top men’s teams – including the University of Arizona, the current No. 1 team in the nation – will compete
for the Pac-12 Championship and an automatic berth in the national championship tournament. All tournament games will be televised nationally on the Pac-12 Networks.

2014 ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS
The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs), honoring country music’s best, will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena Sunday, April 6 at 8 p.m. live EST/delayed PST on CBS. Co-hosted by superstars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan for the second consecutive year, this will be the ninth year the ACM Awards have been held at MGM Grand and the 12th year in Las Vegas.

Florida Georgia Line will host the 4th Annual ACM Fan Jam at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. This live remote location will give country music fans the ultimate pass to be a part of the ACMs. Throughout the three-hour telecast from MGM Grand, there will be live ACM Fan Jam performances, via remote, by Florida Georgia Line and other top-tier music acts.

ACM PRESENTS SPECIAL
The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions will tape an all-star concert TV special at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Monday, April 7. The two-hour, star-studded concert event will feature performances by today’s top country acts. Talent announcements are forthcoming. The special will air at a later date on CBS and ticket proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives.

In March 2013, the GRAMMY and Emmy Award-winning artist released The 20/20 Experience Part 1 of 2 which was certified double platinum in the U.S. and earned Timberlake the biggest first week sales for a male artist in five years.
