Take a retrospective look at Las Vegas on the World’s Largest Video Screen on May 12


WHAT:
Fremont Street Experience, located in Downtown Las Vegas, in conjunction with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority (LVCVA) will kick-off National Travel Rally Week with a pictorial retrospective Viva Vision Tribute to Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 6. The show features hundreds of photos of Las Vegas taken throughout the years and will also include a special message from Chairman of the LVCVA’s Host Committee and former Mayor Oscar Goodman. The show will be featured after each regularly scheduled Viva Vision show on Tuesday, May 6 and after the 8 p.m. Viva Vision shows Wednesday, May 7th through Sunday, May 11th.

“Fremont Street is where Las Vegas got its start, with the first hotel literally at 1 Fremont St. Our city has come a long way since then thanks to the tourism industry which plays an important, vital role in the history of Las Vegas and its continued growth,” said Jeff Victor, president at Fremont Street Experience. “Fremont Street Experience is proud to celebrate Travel Rally Week, recognizing the No. 1 economic industry in our state the best way we know how – by honoring Las Vegas on Viva Vision, the World’s Largest Video Screen.”

The Viva Vision Tribute is being shown in conjunction with the LVCVA’s Travel Rally Day, celebrating tourism and its contributions to Nevada’s growth and success. Tourism is the No. 1 economic driver for the state and plays an important part in its history.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 6 – Immediately following the 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m. and midnight Viva Vision shows.
