Event Takes Place During Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival Week at PICNIC, Downtown Grand’s Urban Rooftop Pool Experience
The Downtown Grand Las Vegas and Slow Roast Records announce “Slow Roast Picnic,” a poolside DJ showcase to take place on Sunday, June 22, during Electric Daisy Carnival week in Las Vegas. PICNIC, the new urban rooftop pool experience at Downtown Grand, will host a uniquely relaxed, hassle-free day of music, drinks, good friends and great food in an atmosphere reminiscent of a laid-back house party rather than an overhyped, overpriced club scene.
In true Downtown Las Vegas fashion, no velvet ropes, dress codes or high-priced cover charges will be involved. The DJ lineup includes label boss and three-time DMC champion DJ Craze, trap music all-stars Loudpack, Mr. Carmack of legendary Team Supreme, Ape Drums, Sluggers, Codes and Louie Arson, with more to be announced. In addition, the event will feature multiple cameo appearances and surprise secret guest performances sure to delight EDM fans.

Designed to put a modern twist on a classic leisure activity, PICNIC at Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is the city’s newest and only urban rooftop pool experience. Whimsical and nostalgic, PICNIC is reminiscent of a ‘50s pool oasis, which sets the scene for live entertainment and film screenings throughout the year. Guests are invited to share a picnic basket and a blanket on the grass, have a meal at a communal picnic table, and take a dip in the Infinity pool, all while soaking up the incomparable vistas of Downtown3rd and Fremont Street Experience.
