ABOUT FLUX PAVILION: Flux Pavilion is a one-man orchestra! With the ability to sing and play a large variety of instruments, it’s obvious that music comes naturally to him. Since first sitting down at a keyboard at the age of six his dream has been to make music that he loves and perform it to people who love it just as much.

Flux Pavilion AKA Joshua Steele has always been influenced by hard-hitting dance music in everything that he does and it was only a matter of time before he found his own sound in the dance industry and in early 2008 Dubstep lit this internal fuse and he hasn’t been the same man since.

Influenced by the likes of The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and dubstep pioneer Rusko, Flux loved the high energy madness that dance music was capable of and set about making some of his own in the form of dubstep. Already adept with production skills he was soon off the starting block and his tunes were in swift circulation on the dubstep forum and were becoming a familiar name in the scene. What started of as a bit of experimentation soon became clear that Flux has definitely landed on his feet with the dubstep sound.

Before long labels were banging at his door itching to release his music so he decided that the world was ready for Flux Pavilion! Signing tunes to Rottun, Shift, XS Records, Stupid Fly and Dubmented beats and working with artists such as Datsik and Trolley Snatcha, his tunes were dominating the charts and starting to receive a lot more interest from the big boys.

While his career flourished Flux and childhood Friend Doctor P had also been working on some stuff together. They teamed up with Legendary DJ and drum and bass pioneer DJ Swan-e and Earl Falconer of UB40 and formed the infamous Circus Records. With his own platform for dubstep, Flux began to imprint the scene with his sound and was quickly becoming one of the main players in dancefloor dubstep family. His track Voscillate Received ‘Track of the Week’ on Rusko’s radio one takeover which even featured his own vocals and more to date his forthcoming single “I can’t Stop” has just received world record of the week by Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.

Well known for his high energy performances and smashing anthems Flux is now performing all over the globe, and further tours are confirmed for next year in the U.S, Canada and Australia.

ABOUT DESTROID: The combined forces of Excision, Downlink and KJ Sawka have united to bring forth the next stage of the dubstep movement, and they are ready to obliterate all that stand in their way. DESTROID draws on their combined experiences and battle hardened skill sets, pushing musical boundaries by utilizing cutting-edge technology and otherworldly music production techniques. They are the embodiment of the live dubstep experience, a violent vision of both bass music’s future and the descending path on which mankind has set itself upon.

The concept of DESTROID was originally created in late 2009 and has been in heavy development for over 3 years. After Excision’s sold out 2012 X Tour, which brought 100,000 watts of sound, the revolutionary X Vision visual experience, and hundreds of thousands of bloodthirsty bass music fans to venues all over North America, the world was finally ready for DESTROID.

To bring the prophetic sounds of DESTROID to life, Excision enlisted the talents of fellow Canadian Dubstep technician Downlink to build upon their monumental collaborations. A world-class producer in his own right, Downlink has repeatedly smashed the Beatport Top 10 with his punishing style of forward-thinking bass music production. After working with nu-metal legends Korn for their The Path Of Totality album and touring with the band as an opening act for U.S. and U.K. tour dates, he has gone on to tour the world on his own and has continued to deliver some of the heaviest sounds in the scene. His quest to evolve and refine his own sound has led him to the next level, bringing DESTROID’s message to the masses.

Excision and Downlink were locked into a vicious collision course with their future selves. The trajectory indicated there was another soul needed to complete the unit – another destined to share the same path. As they searched for the missing element of DESTROID, the perfect solution was found in the inhuman drummer known as KJ Sawka. After years of experience with the platinum-selling electronic rock band Pendulum, this Seattle native has been widely accepted as one of the most unique drumming talents of our time. After experiencing his rapid-fire rhythmic arsenal you may not be sure if he is man or machine due to the striking syncopated brutality of his electronic beats. With KJ perfectly completing this trifecta, Excision and Downlink found themselves in need of new electronic weapons. Employing some of the most talented minds in the music hardware industry for the last few years, Excision and Downlink are now armed with custom-crafted MIDI-controlled “guitars” to command the DESTROID Live show from anywhere on the stage combined with KJ Sawka on midi-trigger drums.. This trio is set to launch minds into the stratosphere through the power of live dubstep, delivering electronic devastation and cerebral elevation.

The original location opened in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in 2009 in the former Hecla Iron Works building (built in 1882) and was the first L.E.E.D. certified bowling alley in the world. Brooklyn Bowl New York has hosted countless notable performances, including shows by Kanye West, Adele, Paul Simon, Moby and Guns N’Roses and has been named Zagat’s “Best Music Venue – New York City” for three consecutive years (as well as “Best Bowling Alley” and “Best Brooklyn Venue”) and one of the best clubs in America by Rolling Stone. Eater described their menu as “epic,” while The New Yorker hailed the club’s unprecedented combination of top-flight music, beer, bowling, and food as “like nailing a spare on a four-ten split.” The second Brooklyn Bowl location opened in January 2014 at the O2 in London, and was hailed by the London Evening Standard as a “…wonderland of food, drink, music and pins”.
