Local Soulful Singer Chadwick Johnson Will Take the Stage at the Suncoast Showroom September 20-21
Singer, songwriter, Chadwick Johnson will bring his hip vibe and fresh spin on vintage and modern classics to the Suncoast Showroom on September 20 and 21 with the premiere of his production show, “Golden.”
Known for his soulful approach to music, Johnson has been sought out by celebrated producers including David Foster, who has produced music for high profile artists Celine Dion, The Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and many more.
Johnson’s “Golden” is a multimedia spectacular that will showcase today’s new hits alongside some of the greatest songs from the vintage era. He performs the songs we all love like we’ve never heard them before, making them his own with his unique musical arrangements visually accented by a sizzling 4-piece dance troupe.
Specializing in jazz, pop, R&B, dance and soul, Johnson’s range has been compared to artists such as Journey’s former lead vocalist, Steve Perry, and powerful songstress Eva Cassidy. His unique vocal ability and soulful “throwback” sound on stage has led him to perform for many prestigious American icons including Kevin Spacey and President Bill Clinton.
