UNLV WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYS EXHIBITION FRIDAY AGAINST EVANSVILLE

The UNLV women’s soccer team will see the field for the first time this season on Friday night, as the Rebels will host Evansville in an exhibition game at 7 pm at Peter Johann Memorial Field. Attendance is free, while fans attending the game should expect to park at the baseball parking lots and walk over to Johann Field, due to the construction project to increase the soccer parking.
UNLV is under first-year head coach Chris Shaw, and return seven starters from last year’s team that posted a 10-8-3 record. There will be a live webcast of Friday’s game against the Aces available thanks to the Mountain West Network on UNLVRebels.com.
The regular season will come on Friday, Aug. 22, against Northern Arizona at 7 pm at Johann Field as part of the UNLV Rebel Classic. The Rebels will also play Grand Canyon that weekend, a 1 pm contest on Sunday, Aug. 24.
