Valentine’s Day Bash Aims To Break World Record for Largest Speed Dating Event at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center
This Valentine’s Day, the D Date-A-Thon is back and bigger than ever! With space for up to 5,000 singles, the new Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) is ready to welcome a record-breaking number of singles and claim the world record for the largest speed dating event.
Whether looking for true love or just a next date, singles can mix, mingle and make history at an epic Valentine’s Day bash featuring a live DJ and prize giveaways from 6 – 9 p.m. To provide liquid courage, DLVEC has partnered with SKYY Vodka to offer half-priced festive cocktails for ladies and $1 shot specials for all.
With more than 1,000 guests already registered for the D Date-A-Thon, a shot at breaking Calgary, Alberta’s current world title of 651 speed daters is in reach. Each partygoer will embark on 24, three-minute dates throughout the event. Registration is FREE and guests are encouraged to sign up in advance at vegasspeeddate.com or on-site at DLVEC beginning at 4 p.m.
DLVEC has partnered with X107.5 KXTE-FM, SPYONVegas, FastLife and Plenty of Fish to make the evening one to remember. X107.5 KXTE-FM’s Daena “DK” Kramer” will emcee the event, announcing speed dating rounds and awarding giveaways such as 2-night staycation packages at the D Las Vegas, dates for two at award-winning Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse and pairs of tickets to Frankie Scinta.
Guests must be 21 years or older.
