Kansas has been selling out concert halls well before many current rock bands were born and the band has been spreading the love for American rock music ever since. After becoming popular in the 1970’s the band has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-platinum albums, one platinum live album and a million-selling single, “Dust in the Wind”. Another classic that topped the charts was the popular “Carry On Wayward Son” which was the second-most-played track on classic rock radio in 1995 and No. 1 in 1997. The bands mix of American-style boogie rock and complex, symphonic arrangements with changing time signatures has created a fan following that seems to stand the test of time. The band has endured member additions and departures but has continued to pump out hits and tour the country. True Kansas fanatics have been parading behind the band for the last 40 years and there has finally come a time for those to see the legendary rock group in Sin City itself, Las Vegas, Nevada. Veil Pavilion inside Silverton Casino will be hosting Kansas and their signature sound on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m.
