National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Presents Stallion Stakes & Western Gift Show – March 29 – April 4
The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) “Stallion Stakes” event returns to South Point Arena and Equestrian Center Sunday, March 29 – Saturday, April 4. Throughout the week, fans will enjoy the cultural experience of the largest working cow horse event for four and five-year-old horses competing in snaffle bits and hackamores. This event is free and open to the public.
Rocky Mountain Gun Show – April 4 and 5 (Dates May Change)
South Point Exhibit Hall welcomes the Rocky Mountain Gun Show Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5. The two-day exhibition offers adrenaline enthusiasts, hunters and outdoor adventurers access to one of the world’s largest displays of machinery, ammunition and apparel. Tickets will be on sale soon.
Ma’Ceo Acrobatic Equestrian Experience – April 9 – 12
South Point Arena and Equestrian Center, in partnership with WC Equestrian, welcomes Ma’Ceo, a thrilling acrobatic equestrian experience, from Thursday, April 9 – Sunday, April 12. Guests will be transported back in time while witnessing an unparalleled group of stunning equestrian aerial stunts, vaulting, nearly 10 different breeds of horses and more. Produced by Cavallo Equestrian Arts, guests will enjoy the intimate atmosphere, rich acoustic soundtrack and an action-packed performance. Tickets for opening night start at $10 with Friday through Sunday tickets starting at $25. Guests can visit WC Equestrian for $5 off of any general admission ticket, not valid for opening night.
Glass Craft and Bead Expo – April 10 – 12
The Glass Craft and Bead Expo will take over the South Point Exhibit Hall Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 12. As the premier art glass and bead trade show, guests come from all over the world to take classes while reviewing the latest and most ground-breaking products and techniques. The Expo offers over 250 specialty classes in hot, warm and cold glass. Fans looking to expand their collection can attend the “Bead Bazaar” to purchase handmade and one-of-a-kind beads by some of the most celebrated artists in the country. Tickets for this event are available and start at $15.
Arabian Breeders World Cup – April 16 – 19
South Point Arena invites fans to witness one of the most exquisite Arabian horse shows on the international equestrian calendar during the 2015 Arabian Breeders World Cup from Thursday, April 16 – Sunday, April 19. As the premier Arabian horse event in the country, the show unites breeders worldwide and showcases the natural beauty, nobility and unique characteristics of the Arabian horse breed. This event is free and open to the public.
West Coast Regional Finals Collegiate Rodeo – April 24 and 25
South Point Arena will host the West Coast Regional Finals Collegiate Rodeo on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25. Guests can support the local UNLV rodeo team as riders compete against a series of collegiate rodeo teams from all over the country. Competitions include team roping, bull riding, goat tying, barrel racing and steer wrestling. Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $5 for seniors or military. Children 12 and under can attend the event for free.
