First Annual Las Vegas Tennis Pro Am Benefits Southern Nevada Senior Law Program
$5,000 in Proceeds will help to Provide Legal Services to Seniors in Need

In its inaugural fundraising event, 16 tennis teams took part in the Las Vegas Tennis Pro Am Tournament on Sunday, June 7, 2015, raising nearly $5,000 for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Southern Nevada Senior Law Program.

The tournament, held at Spanish Trail Country Club, attracted tennis teaching professionals, retired tennis tour players, as well as college and local business professionals that play with a high level of skill.

All of the money raised goes directly to the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program, which provides free legal assistance and advocacy services to seniors in Southern Nevada. The program often helps seniors in areas such as guardianship, elder abuse, probate and advanced directives.

“This was an outstanding success for us in our first effort to support such a worthy and important organization,” said Chris Gaynor, Vice President at Bank of Nevada & tournament organizer. “With our growing population of seniors in Southern Nevada, we need the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program to assist those who cannot afford extensive legal bills, but need legal help.”

Brothers Sean and Chris Hubbard took home the first place trophy in the Las Vegas Pro Am, after beating opponents Igor Santana and Romik Yeghnazary.

Prior to the tournament, a cocktail party featuring raffle prizes was hosted by Randy Char at the Char Luxury Lounge Real Estate Office at Tivoli Village.

Last year the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program assisted thousands of seniors with important legal help. Services at the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program are provided at no cost to seniors aged 60 and older who reside in Clark County.
