MIRACLE MILE SHOPS COLLECTS FOUNTAIN DONATIONS FOR COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF NEVADA AUG. 1-31
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will collect donations in its fountain this August for Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS of Nevada) to help advance the organization’s mission to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Through Aug. 31, all change tossed in Miracle Mile Shops’ fountain as well as the indoor rainstorm will benefit CIS of Nevada, the local affiliate of the nation’s leading dropout prevention program and Nevada’s most effective intervention organization. The nonprofit’s unique model places site coordinators inside schools to assess student needs and deliver necessary resources to remove barriers to success. CIS of Nevada serves the most dropout-prone schools in districts in Southern, Western and Northeastern Nevada, supporting nearly 45,000 students at over 43 sites.
Miracle Mile Shops’ partnership with CIS of Nevada is part of its Caring, Giving, Changing campaign, which raises funds for nonprofit programs and organizations through community sponsorships, additional partnerships and a number of cash and in-kind donations.
