Bank of Nevada Employee Blood Drive Attracts New Donors During Low Donation Season

There is a crucial need for blood donations during the summer months when many people who donate regularly, take some well deserved time off. Unfortunately, the need for life saving blood by hospitals and other medical agencies never goes away.

That’s one reason Bank of Nevada held an employee blood drive at its Sahara Branch location during this traditionally low donation time.

Among the donors were bank tellers, managers and vice presidents. The drive surpassed its intended goal with a total of 17 donations collected, the highest number of donations collected at the branch since 2010.

Donating blood is a no-cost way to support the community. If you would like to donate blood or have additional questions about the blood donation process, please call United Blood Services at (877) 827-4376 or find additional information here: http://www.unitedbloodservices.org/learnMore.aspx
