Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Live Bands and Specials
at J.C. Wooloughan’s Inside JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa
Irish-themed festivities at the pub March 14 – 17
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa is bringing the spirit of the Emerald Isle to Summerlin with four days of food and drink specials, music and Irish-themed festivities at J.C. Wooloughan’s Irish Pub.
The party starts on Wednesday, March 14 with a special happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy $5 specials on Irish appetizers, 50-percent off Irish draft beer and live music, which kicks off at 7 p.m. with the band Celtic Rockers. On Thursday, March 15, happy hour cranks up again at 3 p.m., with continued specials on Irish appetizers and beer. Live music that evening will feature Arms of America, the renowned U2 tribute band, at 8 p.m.
St. Patrick’s Day Eve on Friday, March 16 brings more happy hour specials on pub food and beer from 3 to 7 p.m. and an expanded live music schedule. Popular Las Vegas singer and songwriter Nick Mattera takes the stage at 4 p.m., followed by rockers Okay Jim at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge for the festivities from Wednesday – Friday.
Early risers can start their official St. Patrick’s Day celebration at J.C. Wooloughan’s as the festivities commence at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17. Entertainment begins at noon in the resort’s beautiful outdoor patio with Las Vegas’ premier Irish band, Finnegan’s Wake. Nick Matera will be back in the pub starting at 2 p.m., and Celtic Rockers will take the patio stage at 4 p.m.
Later in the evening the party kicks into high gear as Arms of America and Okay Jim take simultaneous center stage on the JW Marriott patio and J.C. Wooloughan’s, respectively, at 9 p.m. There will be a cover charge of $20 on St. Patrick’s Day starting at 3 p.m. Party revelers can enjoy both the patio and pub venues with their paid cover.
Aside from drink specials and happy hour deals, J.C. Wooloughan’s and the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa will also be welcoming the Guinness Girls, the Jameson Girls and the Smirnoff Whipped & Fluffed Girls at various times during the week. The girls will be giving out plenty of Irish-themed swag, including T-shirts, trinkets and other green paraphernalia. Bagpipers and leprechauns will also be roaming the resort halls.
