Stephanie Dupree As Resource Development Officers

United Way of Southern Nevada names Alfonso Ayala, Chelsea Brown and Stephanie Dupree as resource development officers.

Ayala, Brown and Dupree’s main responsibilities include coordinating and managing workplace campaigns, obtaining new clients and educating nonprofits on the benefits of partnering with United Way. Their main goal is to strengthen workplace giving through spreading program awareness and building relationships.

A native of Henderson, Nev., Ayala has always been committed to improving Southern Nevada. Prior to joining United Way, he served as a family resource center case manager for HopeLink where he provided counsel to individuals seeking rental and utility assistance. He holds bachelor’s degrees in sociology and political science from Arizona State University and will receive a master’s in education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2012.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Brown is excited about the opportunity to assist United Way’s efforts in the community. She was previously a research assistant at Charles River Laboratories, serving as a project manager, performing laboratory procedures and scientific innovations, helping to expand the capabilities of the department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s in business administration from University of Nevada, Reno.

Prior to being promoted, Dupree served as a resource development associate at United Way, assisting with various workplace campaign initiatives. She previously worked as a student affairs assistant for community service and commuter student services at San Diego State University. She received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu and a master’s in education from San Diego State University.
