Live Music and Poolside Fun Come to Summerlin
with JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort’s Friday Night Pool Parties

Friday nights in Las Vegas’ Summerlin area receive a fun new offering with JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort’s series of pool parties scheduled throughout May. Local families are invited to the JW Marriott Las Vegas’ luxurious pool to enjoy live entertainment, $6 food specials and drink specials, featuring $6 margaritas and $3 domestic beers, each Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.
As a kickoff to the poolside entertainment planned throughout summer, the resort will host the #JWPoolParty Tweetup during the party on Friday, May 18. Those who RSVP for the Tweetup online (http://bit.ly/IJSBts) will receive one complimentary beverage to that evening’s party. Individuals tweeting throughout the evening will also be entered into a raffle drawing for the chance to win one of two great raffle prizes, including a summer-long family membership to the JW Marriott Las Vegas pool (valued at $1,800) or a spa and dining package for Aquae Sulis Spa and the resort’s Ceres restaurant.
The May 18 party will open and close with a DJ spinning from 5 to 6 p.m. and 8 to 9 p.m. The DJ performances will bookend a live-music set from local 70’s tribute band Basic Boogie from 6 to 8 p.m.
During each party, the resort’s Waterside Café will have a weekly $6 menu offering chips and salsa with grilled jalapeños, cheese quesadillas, California rolls with pickled ginger and soy sauce, a fresh, seasonal fruit plate with strawberry yogurt for dipping, fish tacos, and pulled pork sliders with coleslaw and French fries.
The summer entertainment series will continue at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa pool with pool parties on May 25 featuring reggae band Island Spice and June 1 featuring classic rock band Yellow Brick Road. For more information, please call 702-869-7807.
