Linda Fleury, a resident of Eagle River, Alaska was the lucky winner of the $1 million jackpot at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino last night, Wednesday, June 20. A little after 8 p.m., Fleury inserted $20 at IGT’s Wheel of Fortune and a few minutes later, the guest hit the jackpot which came in at $1,064,121.24.
When asked about her reaction at the moment she won, she explained, “I thought I was seeing things. I just sat there, stunned.” Her first thought in regards to how to enjoy her winning was to take her son on a vacation to New Zealand.
