Drivers, start your engines! Boyd Gaming – sponsor of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 race – is the place to be during Las Vegas’ NASCAR Weekend 2015. Boyd Gaming properties throughout the Las Vegas Valley will be hosting special events and promotions for the race, including NASCAR driver appearances, live entertainment and a charity auction benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities. Events include:

NASCAR Driver Appearances
Thursday, March 5
The Speedway Children’s Charities Drivers Auction will take place on Thursday, March 5 at Sam’s Town Live! inside Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall (5111 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89122). The silent auction, benefiting the Las Vegas Chapter of the Speedway Children’s Charities, will feature an array of racing memorabilia and other items. During the live auction, attendees will have the chance to bid on the ride of a lifetime — a chance to ride around the speedway with your favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series or NASCAR Xfinity Series hero during the parade lap for the Kobalt 400 or Boyd Gaming 300.

Clint Bowyer, Driver of the No. 15 5-Hour Energy Toyota, will participate in an interview session with Fox Sports personality Jeff Hammond. Doors open at 5 p.m. and bidding will begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Friday, March 6
The legendary Jeff Gordon, Driver of the No. 24 Pepsi Chevrolet SS, presented by Pepsi, will make a live appearance at The Orleans Hotel and Casino (4500 West Tropicana Avenue). Chris Myers of Fox Sports will host the event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.

Carl Edwards, Driver of the No. 19 ARRIS Toyota, will make a live appearance at the Fremont Hotel and Casino (200 Fremont Street). Jeff Hammond of Fox Sports will host the event. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.

Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300
Prepare to experience the rush of an action-packed race. The second running of the Boyd Gaming 300 (previously known as the Sam’s Town 300) will take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 7.

Friday, March 6
1:30 p.m. – NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 practice
3 p.m. – NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 final practice

Saturday, March 7
9:45 a.m. – NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 qualifying
1 p.m. – NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 (200 laps, 300 miles)

Live Entertainment
The Marshall Tucker Band, March 6-7
After the race, head to The Orleans Showroom for the official Boyd Gaming 300 After-Party, featuring The Marshall Tucker Band.

For more than 30 years, The Marshall Tucker Band has influenced country music greats Alabama, The Kentucky Headhunters, Confederate Railroad and Travis Tritt with its definitive blend of rock, rhythm & blues, jazz, country and gospel. Speedway Superstar Contest
In advance of NASCAR weekend, on Friday, February 20, more than 20 contestants will face off in The Orleans Showroom, located within Orleans Hotel and Casino, for the title of “Speedway Superstar.” The winner will get the chance to perform the National Anthem before tens of thousands of NASCAR fans at the Boyd Gaming 300 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and finals begin at 7 p.m., admission is free.

Promotions
NASCAR Viewing Parties
Leading up to the race in March, Boyd Gaming properties including The Orleans Hotel and Casino, Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, Suncoast Hotel and Casino and Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall will be hosting NASCAR viewing parties – kicking off with the Daytona 500 on Saturday, February 22. Guests in attendance will have the chance to win NASCAR weekend tickets, Neon Garage passes and hats during the viewing parties at each property.

Enter to Win a 2016 VIP Race Experience
The prize package includes a 5-day/4-night stay at a Las Vegas Boyd Gaming hotel, two NASCAR weekend terrace tickets, $500 in slot dollars, a $250 dining credit and $250 in airfare credits. Contestants can enter online or on-site during the driver appearance events.
