Born in 1992, Pittsburgh, Pa.’s Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick Mac taught himself to play piano, drums, guitar and bass by the age of six. Influenced by the styles of artists such as Big L, Lauryn Hill, Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest, Mac soon developed a reputation for delivering jaw-dropping freestyles in Pittsburgh. Los Angeles rapper Hopsin (Marcus Jamal Hopson) began rapping at sixteen years old. Known for his use of white colored contacts and love of skateboarding, he has released five albums to date, the latest being 2015’s “Pound Syndrome,” which debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200. He is associated with SwizZz, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton and Tech N9ne.

Jacksonville, Fla. pop-punk alternative rock band found success with its 2003 album “Ocean Avenue” and hit single of the same name. The song quickly shot up the charts after premiering on MTV’s TRL program. The song “Empty Apartment” was featured on an episode of “One Tree Hill” and the band was featured on an episode of MTV’s “Real World/Road Rules Challenge.” The band’s second album “Lights and Sounds” centers on the band’s negative feelings towards Los Angeles. Yellowcard’s latest album, “Lift a Sail,” released in 2014, is marked by a decidedly more rock sound.
The word resurrection invokes the act of rising again, the possibility of revival despite opposing circumstances. There is no better for the title of New Found Glory’s eighth album. The collection of songs, produced by the band and engineered by Paul Miner, reflects four musicians determined to overcome no matter the odds. The Florida band, which has been creating infectious pop-punk since 1997, has learned to embrace the struggle and allow it to spawn a new beginning, opening a chapter where New Found Glory is stronger and more unstoppable than ever. The group has headlined Warped Tour, toured with Green Day and performed on the mainstage of festivals like Reading and Leeds, its songs connecting positively and universally with fans around the world.

After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd in 1978. “PiL” continued until 1992 with a shifting line-up and unique sound which saw the band fuse rock, dance, folk, pop and dub. Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time, the band’s music and vision earned it five U.K. Top 20 singles and five U.K. Top 20 albums. John Lydon resurrected the band in 2009 together with former members Lu Edmonds and Bruce Smith, plus 2009 recruit Scott Firth. Public Image Ltd. released a new studio album ‘This Is PiL’ in 2012.

Formed in Ithaca, New York, in the mid-1990s, at a time when there wasn’t yet a far-reaching U.S. reggae scene, John Brown’s Body was one of a small handful of U.S. reggae bands that began touring nationally. Since then, JBB has played an important role in helping define distinctly “American reggae.” JBB’s music is steeped in traditional vibes, but unapologetically incorporates elements from other genres. While most American reggae bands tackled typical reggae themes (such as religion and marijuana), JBB acted more like an indie band, writing songs that used the vocabulary of reggae to express the members’ own experiences. Its unique approach resonated with the masses. The group’s 2008 full-length record, “Amplify,” hit number one on the Billboard Reggae Chart, 2012’s JBB “In Dub” EP reached number one on iTunes’ Reggae Chart, and in 2013 “Kings And Queens” topped both Billboard and iTunes Reggae Charts at number one.

As teenagers, Warren G, Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg formed a group called 213 after their Long Beach, California area code in 1990. The trio dissolved when two of its members signed with Death Row Records, but Warren continued to develop his solo career. His big break came when his vocal collaboration with Mista Grimm, on “Indo Smoke”, appeared on the “Poetic Justice” soundtrack (1992). Warren’s outstanding rap led to a serious collaboration with his stepbrother, Dr. Dre. Warren G made major contributions to Dr. Dre’s album “The Chronic” (released in December 1992), including sampling for “Nuthin’ but a G-Thang”. Worldwide recognition as a solo artist came immediately after Warren G dropped the smash hit “Regulate”; a duet with Nate Dogg, which topped the charts in 1994. Overall, Warren G has sold eight to ten million records.

It’s been more than 20 years since Ben Ellman, Robert Mercurio, Stanton Moore, Jeff Raines and Rich Vogel began exploring the seemingly limitless musical possibilities born out of their work together as Galactic. Since then, the seminal New Orleans band has consistently pushed artistic boundaries on the road and in the studio, approaching music with open ears and drawing inspiration as much from the sounds bubbling up from their city’s streets as they do from each other. Ever since 2010, when Gary Clark Jr. wowed audiences with electrifying live sets everywhere from the Crossroads Festival to Hollywood’s historic Hotel Café, his modus operandi has remained crystal clear: “I listen to everything…so I want to play everything.” The revelation that is the Austin-born virtuoso guitarist, vocalist and songwriter finds him just as much an amalgamation of his myriad influences and inspirations. Anyone who gravitated towards Clark’s, 2011’s “Bright Lights” EP, heard both the evolution of rock and roll and a savior of blues. The following year’s full-length debut, “Blak And Blu”, illuminated Clark’s vast spectrum – “Please Come Home” is reminiscent of Smokey Robinson, while “Ain’t Messin’ Around” recalls Sly and the Family Stone. 2014’s double disc “Gary Clark Jr–Live” projected Clark into 3D by adding palpable dimension and transcendent power –– songs soared and drifted from the epic, psychedelic-blues of “When My Train Comes In” to his anthemic, hip-hop, rock-crunch calling card, “Bright Lights”, all the way down to the deep, dark, muddy water of “When The Sun Goes Down”. Underoath is a Grammy-nominated, Tampa-based sextet, which released its final album, “Ø (Disambiguation),” in 2010. The band announced a farewell tour in late 2012 as well as a career-spanning album, “Anthology: 1999-2013.” The band played its final show on Jan. 26, 2013 in St. Petersburg, Fla. In August of 2015, it was announced that Underoath will reunite for the 2016 Self Help Festival on March 19 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA, as well as a subsequent tour. Dubbed the Rebirth Tour, the band will play albums “They’re Only Chasing Safety “and “Define The Great Line” in their entirety.

With three levels spanning over 80,000 square feet, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is one of the largest performance venues in America and is described by People Magazine as being “on the fast path to being Vegas’ über cool place.” Located at The LINQ, the open-air district in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the multi-dimensional space boasts 32 lanes of bowling, five on-site bars and rockin’ comfort food by the world-renowned Bromberg Brothers’ Blue Ribbon Restaurants, including their iconic Fried Chicken celebrated on Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” On any given night, more than 2,000 concertgoers can enjoy live music programming from the general admission area, the luxurious bowlers’ lounges adjacent to the lanes, or the private lounge boxes overlooking it all. Since opening in March 2014, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has seen notable performances by Elvis Costello & The Roots, Jane’s Addiction, Phil Lesh & Friends, Primus, O.A.R. and 21 Pilots.
The original location opened in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in 2009 in the former Hecla Iron Works building (built in 1882) and was the first L.E.E.D. certified bowling alley in the world. Brooklyn Bowl New York has hosted countless notable performances, including shows by Kanye West, Adele, Paul Simon, Moby and Guns N’Roses and has been named Zagat’s “Best Music Venue – New York City” for three consecutive years (as well as “Best Bowling Alley” and “Best Brooklyn Venue”) and one of the best clubs in America by Rolling Stone. Eater described their menu as “epic,” while The New Yorker hailed the club’s unprecedented combination of top-flight music, beer, bowling and food as “like nailing a spare on a four-ten split.” The second Brooklyn Bowl location opened in January 2014 at The O2 in London, and was hailed by The London Evening Standard as a “…wonderland of food, drink, music and pins”.
