Bruce Merrin Celebrity Speakers & Entertainment Bureau, www.celebrityspeakersentertainment.com, celebrating its 40 year anniversary, has booked award winning actress Fran Drescher for a speaking engagement October 12, in Pomona, California, for the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Foundation. Fran was nominated for an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her performances in the hit TV series, “The Nanny”

Bruce Merrin’s Celebrity Speakers & Entertainment Bureau has also just booked Jerry TARK Tarkanian for a personal appearance at Henderson Hyundai on Friday September 13; Wayne Allyn Root for a keynote presentation for the CPA Marketing Genius LLC Group in Las Vegas on November 8; Cleveland Hero Charles Ramsey for a personal appearance in Canton, Ohio on December 21; and Grammy Award winner Tommy Allsup, the original lead guitarist for Buddy Holly, for a concert at Tommy Rockers in Las Vegas in mid-October.

The company has booked every Past President since President Ronald Reagan and books prominent sports stars, motivational and inspirational speakers, best selling authors and newsmakers!  Recent bookings include actor William Shatner at the Dolphin Court Resort in Orlando, FL and Dr. Wayne Dyer in Palm Beach, FL.

Merrin’s family moved to Las Vegas in 1956.  Merrin’s dad, Dan Merrin was the Exec VP and Genenral Manager of the Flamingo Hotel, and attended the monthly owners meetings.  Bruce went to John C Fremont Jr. High in Las Vegas, played on the Las Vegas Laundry Bombers Little League baseball team, and his best friend was Bob Miller, the future two term Governor of Nevada!!!!

Merrin graduated from the UCLA Film School.  After working at MGM Studios for 1 year, he joined his mom’s legendary Hollywood PR Firm at General Service Studios.  For 3 years he learned the business from his beloved mom.  “I owe all my success to my mom.  She is a blessing in my life,” states Merrin.
