Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino will welcome actor and comedian Aziz Ansari when he returns to Las Vegas with bigger and better laughs Saturday, Oct. 4. Recently embarking on his Modern Romance North American tour, the “Parks & Recreation” actor will take the Mandalay Bay Events Center stage at 9 p.m.
Tickets priced at $35, $55 and $75, not including applicable tax and service fees, go on sale Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m. and will be available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). In November 2013, Ansari released his third hour-long stand-up special titled “Buried Alive” on Netflix, a follow-up to “Dangerously Delicious” and his debut “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening.” The actor also has kept busy in the film world with his voice having been recently featured in the Twentieth Century Fox animated hit film “Epic.” Ansari has earned critical praise for his role in NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” from media outlets including Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide and Yahoo! TV. Additionally, People Magazine named him 2011’s “Funniest Dude in Primetime.”
Ansari recently landed a deal with The Penguin Press and will soon release a book about modern dating and how the basic issues facing a single person – who they meet, how they meet and what happens next – have been radically altered by new technologies.
