FREEDOM BEAT’S CULINARY ROAD TRIP SERIES PULLS INTO ITS HOMETOWN OF DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

Chef Scott Commings Monthly Sold-Out Dinner Series Celebrates Vintage Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 19 at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino

Vintage Vegas Dinner follows dining road trips to New Orleans, Colorado, Wisconsin and New York

With four sold-out culinary road stops now fading in the rear view mirror, Chef Scott Commings continues to tear up the road and is set to celebrate Vintage Downtown Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 19th for his monthly Culinary Road Trip series at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino.

Set against a classic Downtown Las Vegas backdrop, the July 19th stop will recall a time when a handshake from Sinatra was all you needed for VIP access. “There is so much great culinary history right here in Downtown Las Vegas, we wanted to make sure to stop in our own hometown and celebrate those golden age vibes while welcoming you into our family,” notes Chef Commings. With dishes that include a lil bit of Antipasti, some Meatballs, and Eggplant Parmesan, all outfitted with a period-correct cocktail and dessert, this meal will make you fuggedabout that diet and get connected with all of your old associates once again.

Hosted each month by Chef Commings, this intimate dinner series, normally limited to 25 seats inside of Freedom Beat, is doubling its passenger count to 50 guests and moving into the Las Vegas Room at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in order to accommodate the demand for this special, one-off Vegas event.

Supported by costumed servers, live entertainment, and a special presentation by the Mob Museum, guests will be encouraged to wear their favorite era-inspired dress and capture the crime by way of a mug-shot upon entry. In addition to their Culinary Road Trip passport, all travelers along for this Vegas joy ride will receive discounted tickets to the Mob Museum, a themed swag “kick back” from the boss, and extended happy hour at Freedom Beat before and after the event.

Tickets to this one-of-a-kind Culinary Road Trip dinner are available online at Eventbrite now, with a pre-sale option of $45 dollars available through July 9th and $50 dollars after that. Event starts at 6:30 with all seats reserved on a first come, first serve basis so remember…don’t tell anyone about this thing of ours.
