R Steak & Seafood inside the legendary Riviera Casino & Hotel is hosting a four-course wine tasting dinner featuring Ferrari-Carano Winery on Thursday, Sept. 27. The welcome reception begins at 6 p.m. and the dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $65 per person (plus tax and gratuity) for advance reservations, which can be made by calling 702-794-9233. The tasting dinner costs $75 at the door, plus tax and gratuity.
The four-course meal includes:
v Mixed Green Salad served with Goat Cheese, Pine Nuts, Dried Cranberry and Citrus Vinaigrette, paired with a Ferrari-Carano Sauvignon Blanc
v Prawns “Saltimboca” Style with Prosciutto, White Wine Butter Sauce, Sautéed Spinach and Fried Sage Leaves, paired with a Chardonnay
v Filet Mignon with Rosemary and Mushroom Jus served with Garlicky Smashed Potatoes and Merlot-Rosemary Jus, paired with a Merlot
v Dark Chocolate Espresso Cheesecake with Strawberry Coulis, paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon
