Freed’s Dessert Shop to Celebrate
First Anniversary at Northwest Location
Locals’ favorite, Freed’s Bakery, will celebrate the first anniversary of Freed’s Dessert Shop, located at 6475 N. Decatur Blvd., with a complimentary vanilla or chocolate cupcake for every patron on Sunday, Oct. 6.
“We are thrilled that this new extension of Freed’s has been so well-received,” said Max Jacobson-Fried, general manager and owner of Freed’s Bakery. A new Freed’s Dessert Shop, and the company’s fourth Freed’s location, will open this fall located at 10870 W. Charleston #110 in Summerlin.
The 1,160-square-foot Freed’s Dessert Shop in Northwest Las Vegas offers an array of decadent pastries, cookies, cake slices, 7-inch round cakes and sheet cakes for all special occasions. Signature creations include Freed’s strawberry shortcake, delicate white cake filled and iced with sweetened whipped cream and fresh sliced strawberries; cannoli, pastry dough filled with a blend of sweet ricotta, cinnamon, and chocolate chips; and Parisian cake, rich chocolate cake layered and iced with Belgian chocolate blended whipped cream and topped with chocolate shavings. Custom orders, including wedding cakes, birthday cakes and more, is facilitated by the company’s 8,500-square-foot full-service flagship, Freed’s Bakery, located at 9815 S. Eastern Ave.
