Green Valley Ranch Resort will celebrate the holiday season with its all-new Winter’s Village experience. The AAA Four Diamond rated Henderson destination will soon transform its outdoor amphitheater located in the backyard pool area into a winter wonderland for the entire family. Just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip, the winter-like atmosphere will allow guests to deck the halls with a spectacular outdoor real ice rink and holiday-inspired activities for a limited time from Nov. 24 to Jan. 7. The Resort will also offer amazing hotel packages complete with the Winter’s Village experience – perfect for any holiday celebration or vacation getaway.
Giving Back for the Holiday Season
Winter’s Village at Green Valley Ranch Resort
“Saturdays with Santa” will be offered from 2 p.m.- 6 p.m. every Saturday through December 23. Visits with Santa will be free, and photos will Santa will be at an additional charge.
To complement the experience, Winter’s Village will also serve up hot cocoa, warm apple cider and an assortment of holiday treats courtesy of the resort’s Executive Pastry Chef Joseph Passalacqua, available for purchase. Highlights include polar bear pretzels, wonderland cupcakes, snowy cake pops, and to top it off fire pit s’mores featuring gourmet chocolate, graham crackers, choice of marshmallow, and roasting sticks. In addition, guests looking for “to go” delights can do so with Gingerbread houses that can be decorated at home.
The all-new experience will be open daily Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with tickets (including skate rentals) available at the rink at $20 per person. There will be extended winter school break hours beginning December 23 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily and a calendar of events with additional information are available at wintersvillage.com.
