Boasting a career spanning more than 25 years, Bertaggia enjoyed great success as an Italian Formula 3 Champion. He also accomplished the feat of winning the Formula 3 race in Monte Carlo and the Formula 3 Championship in Macau in the same year. In addition to being the former course director for the official Ferrari driving school, Bertaggia was the only instructor worldwide to teach on the private Ferrari Enzo Courses.
In ten years of professional racing, De Micheli participated in more than 100 races and won multiple Italian championships including il Campionato Italiano Turismo and il Campionato Italiano Suoeroriduzione. In addition to his impressive career as a professional race car driver, DeMicheli previously held instructor positions at the official Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo schools.
This all-inclusive package is highlighted by round-trip transportation to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway via private helicopter, 36 laps around the track in a Ferrari and one-on-one time with one of Dream Racing’s founders and former professional racers.
Upon arrival, participants will enjoy private VIP check-in with a personal hostess who will accompany them throughout the entire experience. After a classroom session in the Dream Racing theater and practice time in a state-of-the-art 3D simulator featuring a laser scan of the circuit, it’s time for participants to hit the track accompanied by Bertaggia or DeMicheli. They will start their track time as a passenger for three demo laps by one of the former racers in a street legal Ferrari 599, before climbing into the driver’s seat of the 430 GT race car to try their hand at the wheel.
Dream Racing is only place in Las Vegas where you can drive a Ferrari 430 GT tuned specifically for the track and so advanced it is not legal on the street. This incredible machine boasts a high performance V8 engine, F1 automatic clutch paddle shifts, and 512 HP at 8500 RPM.
The in car sessions over the course of the day will aim to create faster and more proficient drivers with a variety of teaching elements including telemetry print outs and driving analysis, qualifying style laps and instructor hot laps. Participants will be able to evaluate their performance with the professionals, receive hands on demonstration of proper technique and take their new skills back on the track to improve their lap time and quality.
The extensive experience culminates in the luxury lounge where espresso, a certificate and lap video from the in-car camera awaits before being whisked off via helicopter back to the Las Vegas Strip, taking with them their Sparco racing shoes and gloves to serve as a reminder of their time on the track.
