HUSSONG’S CANTINA ANNOUNCES DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATIONS
Hussong’s Cantina & Taqueria continues to bring the authentic taste of Mexico to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place with drink menu additions and a night of entertainment in honor of Day of the Dead on Friday, November 1. Day of the Dead, a Mexican national holiday, focuses on gatherings of family and friends to celebrate the lives of loved ones.
To kick off the celebration, Hussong’s will be launching Day of the Dead beers, a Mexican owned and brewed line of craft beer, available for $6. The line, coming straight from Tecate, Mexico, just made its Las Vegas debut at the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s 76th Annual Convention and Trade Show at the beginning of October. Also debuting on the menu will be the Hussong’s Caliente Michelada, a zesty libation featuring the distinct spicy flavors of Chili Devil beer for $10. These additions join the extensive selection of cocktails, tequilas, beers and margaritas already offered alongside the authentic Baja cuisine.
Festive sugar skull-inspired face painting will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. as well as the musical stylings of the restaurant’s Rock n’ Roll Mariachi band. The quartet performs everything from Latin serenades to classic rock hits upon request, offering a modern and energetic take on the traditional mariachis.
