Insomniac Unveils 3rd Annual EDC Week Charity Auction With Extraordinary Experiences, Benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada

For the third consecutive year, Insomniac has teamed up with eBay for Charity to bring the 2017 EDC Week Charity Auction to life, raising funds for the wonderful work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. Bids are now open for the first wave of priceless experiences surrounding North America’s largest dance music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas.
“In my neighborhood growing up, the local community center always provided a place for myself and other kids to feel safe and connected to one another and the community. It feels great to give back to an organization that has brought wonderful programs and happiness to thousands of deserving children,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “With the support of our incredible Headliners, this year’s EDC Week Charity Auction will fund a brand new art program for all 14 Boys & Girls Club locations in Southern Nevada.”
The first phase of the auction offers fans new, unparalleled access to EDC Las Vegas, which will celebrate its 21st edition Under the Electric Sky at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from June 16 – 18. Auction winners can sail the festival grounds on the Bass Wench Art Car, hang out with Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella in his SkyDeck cabana, tag the wasteLAND stage with a piece of art and much more. Participants will have 10 days to place their bid for the chance of a lifetime. All auction items are available at eBay.com/Insomniac, with many bids starting at just $0.99 where 100 percent of the funds raised will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.
Insomniac and the Boys & Girls Clubs share many of the same core values: a celebration of creativity and self-expression, and a love of community. Both organizations aspire to provide safe, healthy and welcoming spaces. The new art program funded by the EDC Week Charity Auction will give children at every Southern Nevada clubhouse an outlet to express themselves through the arts, just as Insomniac festival attendees feel that they can freely express themselves at our shows.
