BCS Championship Playoff Viewing Party – Thursday, Jan. 1
South Point Showroom will host the BCS Championship Playoff Party on Thursday, Jan. 1 with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. College football fans can cheer on their teams as Oregon takes on Florida State in the Rose Bowl at 2 p.m. followed by Alabama versus Ohio State at the Sugar Bowl at 5:30 p.m. During the viewing parties guests can win exciting prizes while enjoying drink specials. This event is free and open to the public.
24th Annual Las Vegas Vintage Motorcycle Auction, Presented by Mecum Auctions – Jan. 8 – 10
South Point Hotel will host the 24th annual Las Vegas Vintage Motorcycle Auction, presented by Mecum Auctions, Jan. 8 – Jan. 10, 2015. With more than 700 classic motorcycles from years 1903 to 2003 crossing the auction block, enthusiasts and collectors have the opportunity to bid on incredible vehicles during the world’s largest vintage motorcycle auction. Tickets for the event will be available at the door. General admission tickets can be purchased at the entrance for $20 a day or for $50 for a three-day pass.
Silver Dollar Nationals – Jan. 9 – 11
South Point Arena will host thousands of BMX bicycle racers as they roll in for the 2015 Silver Dollar Nationals Jan. 9 – 11. During the first round of the 2015 USA BMX National Series, guests will witness 1,500 amateur competitors from 35 states battle it out for the chance to continue competing for the championship title. This event is free and open to the public.
Lady Luck Invitational – Jan. 16 – 18
South Point Hotel’s Exhibit Hall welcomes the Lady Luck Invitational Jan. 16 – 18 showcasing young elite gymnasts from around the country, including Las Vegas’ Brown’s Gymnastics. Fans have the opportunity to see more than 1,200 youth gymnasts along with up-and-coming Olympic competitors. Tickets for the event start at $10 and will be available at the door.
AFC-NFC Championship Game Viewing Party – Sunday, Jan. 18
In celebration of an amazing football season, the South Point Showroom will host a special viewing party for the AFC and NFC Championships on Sunday, Jan. 18 starting at 11 a.m. South Point will feature drink specials during the party including $4 Patron and Skyy Vodka cocktails, $15 bottomless Bud drafts paired with food specials.
Big City Showdown – Saturday, Jan. 24
South Point Arena will host the Big City Showdown on Saturday Jan. 24 as Findlay College Prep and Bishop Gorman High School basketball teams battle it out for the champion title. Guests will enjoy watching Las Vegas’ elite high school basketball players during an action-packed game as they cheer on their favorite team. Tickets for this event are available.
Diva’s Day Out – Saturday, Jan. 24
South Point welcomes Las Vegas’ annual Diva’s Day Out on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests will experience Las Vegas’ largest women’s event with more than 7,000 attendees. The event will feature over 150 businesses geared towards women and specializing in health, fitness, beauty, fashion, motherhood, finance, education and careers. Attendees will enjoy celebrity appearances by Frank Marino, Australia’s Thunder from Down Under, Michael Grimm and more. This event is free and open to the public.
