146th Belmont Stakes Viewing Party – Saturday, June 7
South Point Hotel will host a viewing party in the Grand Ballroom for horse racing fans during the 146th annual running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 7 starting at 8 a.m. Throughout the day, fans can celebrate the most anticipated horse racing event of the year as California Chrome makes a run to become the first horse in decades to win the coveted Triple Crown. South Point will offer on-site wagering stations and complimentary drinks for guests who place a minimum $20 wager. During the viewing party, South Point will offer a variety of food and drinks specials: $1 hot dogs, $3 slices of pizza and chicken fingers. All viewing parties are free and open to the public and guests must be 21 or older.
$40,000 South Point Stakes – Saturday, June 7
In celebration of the Belmont Stakes, South Point Casino will host an “$40,000 South Point Stakes” virtual horse racing giveaway Saturday, June 7. Casino Club players will have the opportunity to participate in four races at 2:30, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Slot players who earn 200 points prior to one hour before each race will qualify to participate in the virtual race. Players who select the virtual race winner will split the $10,000 free play pool with the other virtual race winners.
$135,000 Summer Freeroll Poker Tournament
South Point Casino will host a $135,000 Summer Freeroll Poker Tournament on Sunday, July 20 at noon. Tournament semi-finals will be held on Sunday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 17 at 7 p.m. Poker players who play 100 hours of live poker now through Monday, June 30 will receive automatic entry into the tournament and $2,500 in tournament chips. The first 50 places will payout with a first place cash prize of $30,000, second place cash prize of $15,000 and third place cash prize of $10,000. In addition, the casino player with the most qualifying hours will receive $2,000 in cash prizes.
Hot Fun Giveaway– Every Sunday through Wednesday in June
Every Sunday through Wednesday in June, South Point casino club card players can win exciting prizes when they earn 400 same-day base points on slot and video reel machines or 800 base points on video pokers machines without having to redeem club points. Prizes include a tote bag and blanket combo, folding chair, rolling cooler and American flag throw. Gifts must be claimed by midnight on Wednesday during the same week points were earned.
Thursday Buffet Giveaway– Every Thursday in June
Every Thursday in June, South Point casino club card players can earn a free lunch buffet when they earn 300 same-day base points on slot machines from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. Casino players who earn 600 base points that day by 8 p.m. will have the option to receive a free dinner buffet. Buffet vouchers are valid Monday through Thursday. All vouchers will expire Monday, June 30.
Win a Seat to the Prestigious Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge – Registration Open throughout June
Registration is now open for South Point Race Book’s Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge qualifier on Saturday, July 19. A $1,500 buy-in covers each individual’s $500 entry fee and $1,000 live bankroll. Participants must bet 10 races from selected tracks with a $100 bet per race, and bettors will have the opportunity to win: cash prizes, one fully paid seat to the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge in November ($10,000 value) or two paid entries to the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge in November ($2,500 value per seat). Three individuals will win a seat for the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge on Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. Checks to enter the qualifier must be received by Tuesday, July 1. After Tuesday, July 1, only cash buy-ins will be accepted.
$500,000 Big-Game Bingo Super Gala
South Point bingo players may now purchase entries for South Point’s Bingo Super Gala event for the chance to win part of the $500,000 bingo jackpot on Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8. Entries for the two-day gala are available for $350 which includes two-day gala access, one 9-ON pack of bingo cards with dauber and one food voucher per day. The bingo spectacular will offer a $250,000 daily prize pool. The gala will start with 10 warm-up games with a total purse of $10,000, followed by 19 Super Gala games for $10,000 each, and concluding with one $50,000 coverall game and one $10,000 “2nd Chance” game. Warm-up games will begin at 11:30 a.m. each day with the Super Gala beginning at 1 p.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.
Enhancing the Super Gala experience, South Point offers gala players a special $50 room rate for Sunday, July 6 and receive a two-night hotel accommodation for Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8. Entry to the Super Gala is subject to availability.

Throughout June, South Point Casino hosts daily no-limit Texas Hold’em “BOUNTY” tournaments every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m., every Tuesday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and every Wednesday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Casino players have the opportunity to participate in each “BOUNTY” tournament for a $60 buy-in.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” Tournament
South Point Casino offers guests the opportunity to participate in special no-limit Texas Hold’em “DEEP-STACK” tournament every Wednesday and Sunday at 6 p.m. The tournament’s $100 buy-in, includes $7,500 in tournament chips. Guests can also receive an additional $2,500 in tournament chips for a $10 add-on.
No-Limit Texas Hold’em “$25 Bounty” Tournament
South Point Casino offers guests the opportunity to participate in a no-limit Texas Hold’em “$25 Bounty” tournament every Tuesday and Friday at 2 p.m. The tournament’s $90 buy-in, includes $6,000 in tournament chips. Guests can also receive an additional $2,500 in tournament chips for a $10 add-on.
South Point Seniors 50+ Slot Tournament – Every Thursday in June
South Point Casino Club Card players age 50 and older will have the opportunity to participate in the Seniors 50+ Slot Tournaments every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., throughout June. Club Card members will receive a free tournament entry when they swipe their Club Card at any Club kiosks. Participants may receive additional entries into the slot tournament for every 250 points earned while playing South Point Casino slots, video poker or video reel machines. The slot tournament will give away $5,200 in cash prizes each week including a $1,500 cash prize to the first place winner.
