Lake Las Vegas Resort announces an exciting list of events throughout the month of October in support of “Pinktober” and the Susan G. Komen Nevada foundation.

 

The award-winning Henderson community is getting spooky for the holiday with an array of “Halloweek” activities, including The Village’s annual trick-or-treating event, Halloween carnival days and shipwrecked cruises! Tuesday, Oct. 1 – Susan G. Komen Nevada Round-Up Program

Thursday, Oct. 31 All month long, Seasons Grocery and Reflection Bay Golf Club will

be participating in a round-up program in which customers can choose to round up to the nearest dollar and donate their change to Susan G. Komen Nevada. Tuesday, Oct. 1 – PUPkins and Halloweenies Costume Contest

Thursday, Oct. 31 Lake Las Vegas Resort is stepping up the cuteness this month with

an adorable pet costume contest that is open to the community. From Tuesday, Oct. 1 to Friday, Oct. 18, dog owners can submit photos of their furry family member dressed in their cutest Halloween costumes for the chance to win a Lake Las Vegas Resort doggy prize pack. Saturday, Oct. 12 11th Annual Rose Regatta

8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All are welcome to participate or watch the 11th annual Rose

Regata dragon boat races at Lake Las Vegas Resort in support of

Sunday, Oct. 13. local men and women in need of breast health services. Novice

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and experienced teams are welcome. All proceeds benefit Dignity

Thursday, Oct. 24 – Halloweek Carnival

Sunday, Oct. 27 Eat, drink and be scary! Lake Las Vegas Resort will host a

2 – 7 p.m. Halloween Carnival at The Village. Families and children of all ages

Friday, Oct. 25 – Pirate Ship Haunted Experience

Saturday, Oct. 26 Lake Las Vegas Resort will host an unforgettable pirate-themed

7 – 8:30 p.m. cruise experience aboard the La Contessa yacht, featuring pirate-

inspired games, prizes and goodies! Children and their families can also meet and take photos with an array of pirate characters throughout the evening. Pirate-themed costumes are encouraged! Tickets are $25 per person and are available for purchase online at www.lakelasvegasevents.com. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Saturday, Oct. 26 Dance to be Fit

11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. All are invited to show off some dance moves at a Lake Las Vegas

Sports Club’s “Dance to be Fit” fundraiser. The dance-a-thon will take place on an outdoor grass are along Via Vin Santo and will feature licensed Zumba instructors, a variety of refreshments, local vendors and a raffle. Participants are encouraged to wear pink costumes. The best overall costume will win a lifestyle package, to include a staycation at Lake Las Vegas Resort. All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen Nevada. Thursday, Oct. 31 Shipwrecked Haunted Costume Party

8 – 10 p.m. Celebrate Halloween aboard the La Contessa yacht for a 2-hour

haunted cruise! Party-goers can enjoy pirate-themed drink specials and appetizers while dancing across the water. Come dressed in your scariest costume for the costume contest and prizes! Tickets are $50 per person and available for purchase online at www.lakelasvegasevents.com. The cruise is reserved for those 21 years of age or older.
