The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will return after the Triple-A All-Star Break to open an eight-game homestand on Thursday, July 13 against the Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field. The four-game series against the Isotopes will conclude on Sunday, July 16. Las Vegas will then host the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, in a four-game series from Monday-Thursday, July 17-20. All eight games on the homestand will begin at 7:05 p.m.

2017 CASHMAN FIELD ATTENDANCE: In 39 dates, Las Vegas’ total is 216,148 for an average of 5,542. Las Vegas has recorded four sellouts: 9,872 for Star Wars Night/Fireworks on April 28 vs. Albuquerque; season-high crowd of 10,342 for the Smokers Strike Out 14th Annual School Day Game on May 3 vs. Tacoma; 9,559 for the Fireworks/Nevada Donor Network Donate Life Night on May 5 vs. Tacoma; 9,353 for the Fireworks Extravaganza on July 4 vs. El Paso. The Las Vegas franchise has reached the 300,000 plateau in “home” attendance in all 34 seasons (1983-2016). The all-time attendance total now stands at 11,509,211. The 51s organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada.

Budweiser Dollar Beer Night will be presented in both the opener (Thursday, July 13) and the finale of the eight-game homestand (Thursday, July 20). Dollar Beer Night will be featured at every Thursday home game during the 2017 season. Proper identification and wristbands are required for dollar beer night.

A spectacular post-game “Fireworks Show,” presented by Albertsons will be featured in game two of the series vs. Albuquerque on Friday, July 14.

Las Vegas 51s Baseball Cap (Syndergaard) Night, presented by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, will be distributed to the first 2,500 fans through the gates (open at 6 p.m.), in game three of the series on Saturday, July 15.

“Smith’s Value Menu Monday” will be presented in the series opener against Fresno on July 17. Monday “home” games will feature a “Value Menu” for the ninth straight season! The 51s and Centerplate have teamed together for discounted food items on Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Peanuts, Cracker Jacks and Pretzels for just $1.00 per item.

WestStar Credit Union “Winning Wednesday” will be featured TWO more times during the 2017 season. The remaining dates are: July 19 vs. Fresno and August 9 vs. Reno.

If the 51s WIN, fans can redeem their tickets for a future Sunday through Tuesday “home” game (excluding Tuesday, July 4). In addition, each “WestStar Winning Wednesday,” one lucky fan will also be randomly selected to be the WestStar Winner of the Game! The winning fan will receive an autographed baseball from a 51s player, a seat upgrade for their group, and the opportunity to become the guest PA announcer for a half-inning that night.

The 51s will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 ‘THE GAME’, which will carry live all 142 regular season games. Also, all games will be available on the 51s website (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MLBAM) at www.LV51.com. Russ Langer, the 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is in his 18th season behind the microphone calling 51s baseball.

All 51s games (home & away) will also be broadcast on MiLB.TV via LV51.com.

Albuquerque’s roster features two of the top 10 prospects in the Rockies organization, according to Baseball America: catcher Tom Murphy (No. 7) and infielder Ryan McMahon (No. 9), the MiLB PCL Player of the Month for June.

Fresno’s roster features three of the top 10 prospects in the Astros organization, according to Baseball America: first baseman A.J. Reed (No. 5); outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (No. 7) and outfielder Derek Fisher (No. 9).

Following the homestand, Las Vegas will embark on an eight-game all-Tennessee road trip beginning in Memphis on Friday, July 21 against the Redbirds, Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The four-game series will conclude on Monday, July 24. The 51s will then travel to Nashville to face the Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s, in a four-game series from Tuesday-Friday, July 25-28.

Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the SCE Federal Credit Union Box Office at Cashman Field. The box office is open Monday-Friday (non-game days) from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com).

The individual game tickets for the 71-game home season are priced at $11.00 (reserved, $12.00-Day of Game); $14.00 (plaza, $15.00-Day of Game) and $16.00 (field, $17.00-Day of Game) & the blue dugout seats at $30.00 ($35-Day of Game). The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, field and reserved seats throughout the season.
