Las Vegas-Based Band The Bones to Release Debut Album
‘What Would Ginger Do?’ with a Launch Party at Count Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill

Las Vegas pop-punk trio launch first record on Friday, Oct. 18

The Bones, a Las Vegas-based rock & roll band is set to launch its first album titled “What Would Ginger Do?” with a record release party at Count Vamp’d on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9:30 p.m.

The Bones members include Patrick Vitagliano (formerly of Nuclear Assault) on Guitar and Lead Vocals; Scot Coogan (formerly of Lynch Mob, Ace Frehley, Brides of Destruction with Nikki Sixx) on Drums and Vocals, and Mike Wilson (Mike has done projects with members of Great White, No Doubt, and Smashmouth) on Bass and Vocals.

“We’re mostly known for taking the ‘cheesiest’ songs of all time and turning them into rock songs, but this record is all-original music,” says Patrick Vitagliano, The Bones guitar player and lead vocalist.

This is the first record of original music for The Bones. There are 12 tracks, all written by singer/guitarist Patrick Vitagliano, including songs titled Dandelion, Space Girl, What Would Ginger Do?, Valentine, Pussycat, The Marcia Brady Song, Catholic Girls to name a few. The record will be available for purchase on iTunes, select record stores and Las Vegas venues where The Bones perform.

“These days, music is far too serious. There’s an element of comedy to the lyrics on this record. It’s tongue and cheek, very sarcastic, and a lot of fun,” says Vitagliano.

Count Vamp’d is located at 6750 W Sahara Ave near Rainbow. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.

About The Bones
The Bones are a Las Vegas-Based rock & roll band, made up of former members of Ace Frehley, Lynch Mob, Brides of Destruction with Nikki Sixx, and Nuclear Assault. The Bones are known for taking the cheesiest songs of all time, and turning them into rock songs. It’s as if The GoGo’s and Social Distortion had a Love Child! The tongue-in-cheek live-show is a high energy set of all the music that was NEVER intended to rock, yet somehow, ends up being one of the most memorable good-time rock shows you’ll see in Las Vegas. The Bones are also a very solid original music act. Their original songs are all feel-good rock and roll, with a witty and sarcastic lyrical spin that is refreshing these days when so many bands take themselves so seriously. The truth is that Danny and his wife Korie work very hard at everything they do and that is what brings them their success. Whether you’re wetting your whistle and listening to awesome live music at Counts Vamp’d, getting your chopper restored at Counts Kustoms, some new ink at Counts Tattoo Company, or watching Counting Cars on the History Channel, you can always Count on a good time and getting your moneys worth.

Counting Cars
Most people in Las Vegas bet with chips, but Danny “The Count” Koker bets with cars. Known from his numerous appearances on Pawn Stars, this Sin City legend walks, talks and breathes classic American muscle cars. When he sees a car he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get his hands on it—including making on-the-spot cash offers to unsuspecting owners. On the HISTORY series Counting Cars, Danny and his team restore, customize and sell cars in a hurry, scrambling to keep their Las Vegas shop in the black. From vintage Thunderbirds to classic Corvettes, toy cars to souped-up sidecar motorcycles, Danny and the crew of Count’s Kustoms will stop at nothing to find and flip the greatest rides of all time.
