Life is Beautiful Appoints COO
Life is Beautiful, the successful lifestyle experience that celebrates music, food, art and learning, announced today the appointment of Josh Ripple as Chief Operating Officer.
“We could not have thought of a better fit for this position than Josh,” said Andrew Donner, Life is Beautiful’s CEO. “He brings with him years of insight and experience that will be integral in developing the Life is Beautiful brand.”
Ripple comes to Life is Beautiful from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas where he served as the Vice President of Entertainment, Lifestyle, Events, Sponsorship and Partnerships. He played a significant leadership role with a team dedicated to creating memorable entertainment/lifestyle experiences across areas including live music, food festivals, film festivals, casino special events programming and sponsorship sales. He also played a critical role in the successful launch of The Chelsea, a new venue at The Cosmopolitan.
“Being afforded the opportunity to help build the Life is Beautiful brand in Las Vegas and beyond is a producer’s dream,” said Ripple. “The team curated a lifestyle entertainment platform last year that received critical acclaim from festival goers, the media and industry insiders, and we are determined to be bigger and better in 2014.”
In his more than 30 years in the entertainment industry, Ripple has developed, managed and overseen a variety of worldwide programming for sports organizations, television shows and films. A former talent agent, live event and television producer and executive of one of the world’s leading women’s international sports organization, Ripple has worked with major entertainment companies including William Morris Endeavor, HBO, NBC, Universal, Spike Television, ABC Family, Fox Sports, ProServ, the WTA Tour, StarGames, Private Label Experience, Madison Square Garden and Caesars Entertainment.
