Though most of his paintings only utilized a few colors in the palette at a time, they nevertheless captured viewer’s attention with an illusion of movement like The Half-Opened Window. This work and others like it will be available at the Martin Lawrence Galleries first public auction on April 21 at their new 26,000 square foot gallery located at The Forum Shops at Caesars.
Chagall’s ability to depict a wide range of fields including memories and fantasies has made his works widely popular across the globe.
