MINUTE MAN RV PARK & LODGING OUTSIDE BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK ANNOUNCES NEW NAME
Formerly Circle 10 Campground
Forever Resorts, a National Park Service concessioner, announces Circle 10 Campground just outside Badlands National Park has changed its name to Minute Man RV Park and Lodging. The location changed its name in honor of the nearby Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, whose visitor center opened in September 2016.
Offering RV hookups and tent camping, Minute Man RV Park & Lodging is open year-round, but offers only dry camping from mid-September through mid-May. In addition, the location offers a guest laundry room, fire pits, indoor showers and restrooms and swimming.
In addition to convenient access to the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site, Minute Man RV Park & Lodging offers an excellent base for visitors to Badlands National Park. Known for the savage beauty of its sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires, as well as its paleontological historic sites, otherworldly sunsets and superb stargazing, Badlands National Park is home to 39 mammal species, nine reptile species, six amphibian species, 206 bird species and 69 butterfly species.
