MIRACLE MILE SHOPS SERVES AS OFFICIAL HEADQUARTERS FOR NEVADA’S BIG GIVE, APRIL 25

WHAT: On Thursday, April 25, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will serve as the official headquarters for Nevada’s Big Give, 24 hours of online giving supporting nonprofits serving the state of Nevada.

Throughout the day, local celebrities and community leaders, including Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and BMX rider Ricardo Laguna, will visit Nevada’s Big Give Headquarters to make personal contributions to the campaign. Additionally, select restaurants will feature light bites at the headquarter location for guests and volunteers. All day, the center’s exterior, Strip-side LED screens will display the total amount of money raised during Nevada’s Big Give.

ABOUT: In its inaugural year, Nevada’s Big Give raised more than $413,000 for local nonprofits. This year, the organization hopes to raise $1 million for Nevada charities within one day. The initiative, launched by NevadaGIVES, is a unique, high-visibility promotion of personal giving designed to bring new donors and dollars to nonprofit organizations throughout the state.

Miracle Mile Shops’ partnership with Nevada’s Big Give is part of the center’s Caring, Giving, Changing campaign, celebrating a year of change in 2013.
