The Miss Nevada USA Pageant Gains Celebrity Involvement
The Miss Nevada USA Pageant Organization is proud to announce the addition of model and media darling, Shanna Moakler and Las Vegas radio personality Chet Buchannan as co-hosts of this year’s Miss Nevada USA competition. The pageant will be held at the Pearl in the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas on January 29, 2012 and feature a live webcast, celebrity panel of judges and an interactive iPod application.
In addition to co-hosting the event, Shanna Moakler will be exercising her pageant expertise as this year’s creative director taking her responsibilities to new heights and adding amazing potential for all those involved. Shanna has embraced her role adding, “I am so honored to share in this prestigious event and to be working alongside some amazing people for a great cause. I can’t wait to be a part of something that ALL of Nevada can celebrate. I couldn’t be more flattered to be asked to host and also add my perspective toward the creative direction.” Between her modeling experiences and business ventures including her cosmetics line, Smoak Cosmetics, Shanna brings a fresh perspective on this year’s Miss Nevada USA Pageant.
Also lending his talent to this year’s production is Dancing with the Stars professional, Tony Dovoloni, who will be choreographing the entire show including various dances for the contestants. The Miss Nevada USA pageant consists of approximately 30-40 women in its preliminary stages. The winner will go on to represent the state of Nevada in the nationally televised Miss USA Pageant in June 2012, and host a speaking tour of where she can continue to inspire and educate young women all over the country.
