Big Dogs Brewing Company

Special four-course menu offered at $75


Ogden’s Hops & Harvest is hosting its first-ever beer pairing dinner featuring Big Dogs Brewing Company on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30 p.m. Chef Bradley Ogden has created a delicious four-course menu to accompany each beer offered at $75 per person including tax and gratuity.

“Pairing beer with dinner is a wonderful way to enhance flavors and notes in the cuisine,” said Chef Bradley Ogden. “Each beer was selected to complement the fresh and seasonal ingredients that are found in all of our dishes.”

The dinner will begin with trays of passed appetizers including Dungeness Crab Cakes served with celery and lemon-dill aioli, Chicken Salad with grapes and crispy pita and Potato Croquette with chive crème fraiche served alongside a sample of Big Dogs Imperial Pilsner which features a crisp, floral flavor and mild hop aroma.

The first course will consist of a Blue Cheese Soufflé of beets, frisee, honey and lavender almonds with a sample of Big Dogs Raspberry Wheat, a dry and fruity, crispy wheat beer.

The second course will feature Diver Scallops plated with parsnip, citrus and endive and a sample of Big Dogs Peace Love and Hoppiness, a sweet pale ale featuring hints of stone fruit and citrus with a strong hop aroma.

For the third course, guests will enjoy the Grilled Prime Rib Eye accompanied with root vegetables and red wine reduction paired with Big Dogs Red Hydrant Ale, an English Brown Ale with a sweet caramel taste, slight toast and low hop aroma.

The final course will be a Pumpkin Doughnut with salted caramel served with vanilla bean ice cream, paired with the Big Dogs Spiced Pumpkin Cask Ale, a spiced specialty caramel beer with no hop aroma.
