Helmed by Chef Jesus “Chuy” Villegas, the Green Valley Ranch Resort restaurant features an energetic atmosphere and captivating cuisine. Borracha’s bold menu prides itself on offering dishes both universal and unconventional.

 

Shareable plates and imaginative burritos litter the diverse menu, as do entrees that are inviting and mouthwatering. Of course, as with any Mexican restaurant worth its salt, the tacos at Borracha captivate palates with handmade tortillas and meats that range from rotisserie chicken, slow-cooked short ribs and fresh Baja fish. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

 

On Tuesdays, Borracha offers an all-you-can-eat and-drink tacos and tequila promotion, allowing guests to titillate their taste buds with authentic Mexican spices, while washing it down with Casamigos, an award-winning tequila that is produced from 100% Blue Weber agave.

 

Borracha will pride itself on offering a happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm that allows guests to try out some the restaurant’s greatest hits, including skewers “al pastor,” a mouthwatering marriage of carne asada, roasted pineapple salsa and masa or smoked chicken taquitos, paired with pico de gallo and house-made pablano sour cream, among other items. All items are priced at $6.

 

The decadent beauty of the restaurant should not be ignored, as decorative and festival skulls watch over guests, while a hand-painted floor, dark wooden beams and a wraparound graffiti mural by famed Mexican artist Oscar Flores bring life to the space that honors the dead.
