Alternative Rock Band to Perform Free Show on Fremont Street Experience
the D Las Vegas will host a free concert by Canadian alternative rock band Our Lady Peace on Fremont Street Experience’s 3rd Street Stage Saturday, Oct.19.
With a massive international fan base and chart-topping singles including “Somewhere Out There” and “Starseed,” the critically acclaimed Canadian band has earned ten MuchMusic Video Awards – the most MMVAs ever awarded to any artist or group – and four Juno Awards. The soulful alternative rockers have toured alongside renowned artists such as Alanis Morissette, The Smashing Pumpkins, Van Halen and Foo Fighters.
Fans will enjoy prime views of the live performance streamed live on the larger-than-life plasma video wall on the D’s exterior and FSE’s massive Viva Vision LED canopy. Guests attending the 2013 Vegas Internet Mafia Family Picnic along with other hotel guests will enjoy the concert from the D’s private VIP area.
