Throwback Thursday Pajama Jam with Kid ‘n Play at LAX Nightclub at Luxor Hotel and Casino
Throwback Thursday at LAX Nightclub at Luxor Hotel and Casino featured a house party of epic proportions on Thursday, March 24, when Kid ‘n Play hosted the Pajama Jam. Performing to a packed house of patrons partying in PJs, Kid ‘n Play delivered hits including “Rollin’ with Kid ‘n Play” and “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody,” while showing off signature moves like the Funky Charleston. Guests in attendance included the cast of “FANTASY” and Flavor Flav, who took in the show up-close from Kid ‘n Play’s table.
Kid ‘n Play, best known for the iconic “House Party” film series, popularized hi-top fades, eight ball jackets, and signature dance moves in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Composed of Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin, the duo is currently touring the country as part of the I Love the ’90s concert series, where they are performing with Coolio, Salt-N-Pepa, and Vanilla Ice, who kicked off LAX Nightclub’s tremendously successful Throwback Thursday series in January.
Every Thursday at LAX Nightclub, DJs spin favorite hits from the ’80s and ’90s, with several memorable Throwback performers hosting select nights throughout the year.
On Thursday, April 7, hip-hop pioneer Tone-Loc will take the stage. The legendary artist is known for the hit songs “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina,” which became the biggest crossover rap singles to date when they were released in 1989.
