Players To Provide Holiday Meals With Points at Arizona Charlie’s
For the first time in its history, Arizona Charlie’s Casinos will allow players the opportunity to contribute their points to help provide a holiday meal for those in our community who might otherwise go without.
The Feed a Family promotion allows ace | PLAY members to contribute any amount between 1 point and 1 million points, by visiting the ace | PLAY Center between Thursday, November 1, 2012 and Sunday, December 23, 2012 during regular operating hours. Normally,For every 12,000 points contributed by ace | PLAY members, Arizona Charlie’s will give a box of food to the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). SNRHA clients have an average annual income of $10,450. Students at Saint Anne and Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Schools will help organize the food products so that each box contains all the fixings for a holiday meal for four people. a customer’s points are used for cash, comps and rewards.
Players do not have to contribute 12,000 points at a time, any amount of points will be accepted. Amounts less than 12,000 will be combined with other contributed amounts to reach the 12,000 point level.
“This is a great way for Arizona Charlie’s and our ace | PLAY members to work together and truly support those in need in our community,” said Mark Majetich, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Boulder.
“When given the opportunity, our players are more than happy to support those less fortunate. We think Arizona Charlie’s players will take advantage of this,” said Ron Lurie, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Decatur.
Arizona Charlie’s Casinos is committed to providing at least 100 food boxes to the SNRHA no matter how many points are given. With help from players, the goal is to provide 500 food boxes.
Points may be contributed at either Decatur or Boulder Arizona Charlie’s locations. Employees of both Arizona Charlie’s casinos as well as employees of parent company American Casino Entertainment Properties, LLC (ACEP) are eligible to contribute.
Food will be distributed two times during the promotion. The first contribution period includes November 1 through 20, 2012 to provide Thanksgiving Day meals. The second contribution period is November 23 through December 23, 2012.
