As an ongoing supporter of Global Green USA, Pureology is working towards a more sustainable future and enlisted Pureology stylists to lead the Eco-Chic Fashion Show hair team at Global Green USA’s 8th Annual Gorgeous and Green benefit in San Francisco, which celebrated the organization’s smart climate solutions. Over 300 attendees including James and Kimberly Van Der Beek and Amber Valetta enjoyed a performance by Michelle Branch as well as an Eco-Chic Fashion Show, delicious organic treats, and sustainably sourced cocktails.
The Eco-Chic Fashion Show showcased top designers including Oliver Tolentino, Mina & Olya, Amour Vert Prophetik, PACT and Cari Borja who blend high style with sustainability. Pureology stylists Natasha Sunshine and Sherilynn Smart co-led the Eco-Chic Fashion Show with the Pureology hair team including PureArtists Sura Radcliffe, Spencer Henry and Shara Deaton.
“We are thrilled to be so involved in this event each year and style the hair for the Gorgeous and Green Fashion Show,” stated Pureology’s Natasha Sunshine of Byu-ti Hair Therapy, A Pureology Salon in Santa Monica and Sherilynn Smart of Sherilynn Jade Salon in Lafayette. “We collaborated with Lily Achatz, the eco-fashion show producer to develop the hair concept for the show – we borrowed from past trends like hollywood glam and rollers to create the look of young Hollywood today.”

Young Hollywood Lustrous Bouncy Waves
– Apply Pureology Colour Stylist Fortifying Heat Spray protective primer to damp hair to protect from heat. Then apply a nickel-sized amount of Colour Stylist Lustrous Volumizer bodifying glaze and blow dry for maximum volume.
– Take hair in 1 ½ inch sections and mist with Colour Stylist Strengthening Control zero dulling hairspray and place in large hot rollers and roll hair down towards the nape. Leave rollers in until cool (15-20 minutes)
– Take out rollers and brush with a natural bristle brush
– Finish with one pump of Precious Oil versatile caring oil applied to the ends and spray with Colour Stylist Radiance Amplifier anti frizzshine spray for added shine.
