“Raiding the Rock Vault” has announced “Gimme Shelter” – a fundraising initiative to support Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Las Vegas’ only no-kill shelter for animals who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or otherwise face homelessness and danger. On Sunday, August 2, musicians and cast members from “Raiding the Rock Vault” attended Nevada SPCA’s “Out of the Gutters,” an annual charity event, which took place at Sam’s Town, where they walked the red carpet, competed in a bowling tournament, and raised awareness and funding for the shelter’s mission and the furry friends it supports.

“Every one of us here at ‘Raiding the Rock Vault’ is an animal lover and a big supporter of everything NSPCA does in the Las Vegas community,” said lead singer Paul Shortino. “So many beautiful animals have ended up on the street because of terrible circumstances, and because of NSPCA, those creatures have a chance at life.”

Throughout the month of August, donations boxes will be installed in Tropicana Showroom at The New Tropicana Las Vegas, where “Raiding the Rock Vault” audience members will be invited make a contribution to Nevada SPCA. In addition, anyone who presents a ticket stub from the show to Nevada SPCA in August will receive a special gift when making an adoption.
