ROCK N’ ROLL LEGENDS CHEAP TRICK TAKE OVER FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE DURING FREE DOWNTOWN ROCKS CONCERT, AUG. 24
On Saturday, Aug. 24, partygoers gathered under the iconic Viva Vision canopy at Fremont Street Experience (vegasexperience.com) for an electric performance by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Cheap Trick. Performing as part of the free Downtown Rocks concert series, fans rocked out as Cheap Trick delivered chart-topping hits including “Dream Police,” “Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me.”
The Downtown Rocks concert series will continue to entertain fans throughout the year, and upcoming free shows include:
- Aug. 30 – The Wallflowers on 3rd Street Stage
- Sept. 1 – I Love the 90’s featuring Vanilla Ice, Montell Jordan, All-4-One, Tone Loc and Coolio on 3rd Street Stage
- Sept. 14 – Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band on 3rd Street Stage
- Sept. 28 – Smash Mouth on 3rd Street Stage
- Oct. 19 – Muddfest featuring Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Trapt, Saving Abel and Tantric on 3rd Street Stage
