New 27,000 Sq. Ft. State-Of-The-Art Indoor Park Now Open
50 Percent of Proceeds to Benefit YMCA of Southern Nevada
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, the creator of the world’s first indoor trampoline park, will celebrate the opening of its newest location in Las Vegas with a grand opening public event on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sky Zone welcomes the whole family to visit the new 27,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art park, located at 7440 Dean Martin Dr. Suite 201, for a thrilling 3-D experience atop a court of connecting trampolines. The special grand opening event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m., free popcorn, cotton candy, balloon artists, face painting, photo opportunities with Sky Maniac – Sky Zone’s mascot, and several giveaways and prizes. Hour jump passes will be available at a special rate of $10 all day with 50% of the proceeds going to YMCA of Southern Nevada. Additionally, all kids who present a YMCA membership card at the event will receive free jump time. (Must have waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian. “We’re inviting everyone to come celebrate as Sky Zone soars into the new ultimate 3-D experience,” said Jeff Platt, President of Sky Zone LLC. “With expanded courts, an all new SkySlam basketball court, Parents Lounge, Mezzanine and a SkyBox overlooking the courts, there is a whole lot more to explore at our new state-of-the-art park.”
Sky Zone’s new park, which opened on July 1, replaces the previous address on Steptoe Street near Boulder Highway. Located on Dean Martin Dr. near Warm Springs Rd. the new park is more centrally located and nearly double in size. With more than 151 trampolines, Sky Zone’s new state-of-the-art trampoline park features wall-to-wall active fun with a variety of new and expanded gravity-defying activities that will have people of all ages jumping with joy including:
· SkySlam – All new SkySlam basketball court where guests can have their picture taken while making the ultimate slam dunk. Pictures can then be sent via email or uploaded directly to social media sites including Facebook and Twitter.
· Foam Zone – The popular Foam Zone, where guests can bounce from square trampolines into a five foot deep pit of foam blocks, has been doubled from two to four lanes.
· Parents Lounge – New to Sky Zone, the Parents Lounge offers a place where parents can sit back and relax with satellite TV, couches, and free Wi-Fi.
· Mezzanine – Spectators can now get even closer to the action as they watch the jumpers from above on a mezzanine wrapping around the courts.
· SkyBox – Overlooking a dodgeball court, the SkyBox elevates events to new heights and is just one of three party rooms and dodgeball courts available for private parties. The brand new park is the ideal venue for groups seeking unforgettable events such as birthday parties, corporate team building, field trips and much more.
· SkyCafe – New café serves up pizza slices, ICEE drinks and other tasty treats.
Sky Zone will continue to offer its unique array of special events, Ultimate Dodgeball tournaments and fitness classes for everyone to enjoy including:
· Open Jump – allowing guests to leap, bound and soar to their hearts’ content.
· Ultimate Dodgeball – for those who enjoy a friendly competition and all the action of regular dodgeball played atop Sky Zone’s patented, all-trampoline, walled playing courts. Sky Zone is the home of this year’s International Ultimate Dodgeball Championships and regularly hosts the local qualifiers across the U.S. and Canada.
· SkyRobics – fitness fiends in Las Vegas, can feel the burn at Sky Zone’s original SkyRobics fitness class, which combines advanced calisthenics and a three-dimensional cardio and strength training program that encourages a healthy mixture of fitness and fun.
· SkyCamp – combining fitness and fun during five half-days of instructor-led activities, age-appropriate SkyRobics, open jumping and Ultimate Dodgeball all incorporating the fun and excitement of Sky Zone.
· Toddler Time – A fun way for parents to spend time with their toddler(s) while letting them jump vertically, zip across the court or bounce off the walls – literally. Toddler Time takes place Fridays from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and is available for $10 per child (moms and dads jump free).
· Jumpapalooza – a two-hour all-access pass for people of all ages to everything Sky Zone taking place Friday nights from 10 p.m. – 12 a.m. Includes two hours of open jump time, Foam Zone access, SkySlam, and Ultimate Dodgeball.
· SkyJam – taking place Saturday nights and featuring open jump and Ultimate Dodgeball, SkyJam is exclusively for ages 16 and up from 10 p.m. – 12 a.m. for just $20 per person.
